GET SET TRAVEL TO TOKYO

Get Set was the official youth engagement platform of Team GB and ParalympicsGB. ‘Travel to Tokyo’ was one of the Get Set programmes which encouraged young people and their families to become more active, particularly during the 2021 Olympic Games.
All activities and narrative of this programme and the campaign were structured around the idea of travelling virtually between London and Tokyo. My team created the programme identity, website, learning resources and cross-channel campaign materials. The aim was to motivate families from less advantaged social groups to have fun while getting active in and around their homes. Campaign style and tone of voice continually evolved to incorporate the impact of Covid at the time.
Results
Over 800,000 children and 1.2m family members took part
23,123 downloads of resources and materials via the website
74% of participants said they intended to take part in more physical activity in future
