‘Bring the Power' was a programme aiming to engage young people in the West Midlands and beyond in the run-up to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. With 60% of the Commonwealth population being under the age of 30, and 40% of Birmingham’s residents being under the age of 25, the Games presented a huge opportunity.
To tight budget constraints, my team produced a suite of creative bitesize resources which were informed by research insights. These resources were used in youth engagement workshops and marketing activations, and were available for download online.

Over 978,000 youth engagements
10,000 tickets distributed to young people and their families
Won ‘Highly Commended’ in the Community Project of the Year category at the British Diversity Awards 2023
